We are in Sherwood Gardens Shopping Center, across the street from the Municipal Pool and the Sherwood Recreation Center,
just south of the Rodeo Grounds. The entrances to the shopping center are on Bernal or Iris Streets. Behind the new Starbucks,
in the main center you'll see a Subway Sandwich and a barber shop. Go in the glass door between them marked 933 and up the
stairs we are on both building locators under Food Fundamentals, A-4 (&A-2). We are in the right corridor.
If you're a stranger to Salinas, the easiest ways to get here are:
From the south, take Hwy 101 to the N. Main Street exit, and turn left on Bernal to get into the shopping center. The
parking lot is the first left driveway. (60 minutes from King City, 30 minutes from Gonzales)
From the Peninsula, for the scenic route, take Hwy 68. This becomes S. Main Street in Salinas. Go nearly to Old Town
and then turn right on E. San Luis Street (corner with Bank of America) and an immediate left on Monterey Street. This will
become N. Main (really). Shortly after the 101 entrance, turn left on Bernal and right into the center parking lot. It is
the first left driveway. (45 minutes mid day, after 4pm 60 minutes)
or
From the Peninsula Use Reservation Road from Marina. Turn left on Blanco Rd. (the first sign for Salinas). On the south
edge of Salinas, turn left on Davis Road. Make a right on Rossi and a left on N. Main Street. Then right on Bernal into
the shopping center. (45-60 minutes from Monterey at noon or 5pm)
From the north, you can take Hwy 1 to Marina and follow the directions in the last paragraph above, (generally around
30 minutes from Marina)
or,
From the north on Hwy. 1, turn left at the Castroville turnoff; go through town and continue on through Hwy 183 to Salinas.
Make a right at the North Davis Street sign (it is an on-ramp loop). Make a right on Rossi and a left on N. Main Street.
Then right on Bernal into the shopping center parking lot. It is the first left driveway. (30-40 Minutes from Castroville
at noon.
